Plug-in solar in Washington
Washington was built as a new town in villages, from Albany and Biddick to Columbia and Oxclose. Most homes are modern semis and detached houses with proper gardens, so there's room to go big.
Room to make more
Max 1260W hybrid
Our biggest kit, for a long open lawn. A busy family home could save around £180 a year.
Plus 1030W hybrid
Two big panels for a squarer garden corner.
Duo 890W ground
Two panels on a simple ground stand along the fence.
Estate rules
Some newer estates have covenants about what can go in gardens. If yours does, check before you order. A kit on a low stand in a back garden is rarely an issue, but it's worth a look.

My house is fairly new. Does it have the right fuse box?
Most newer homes have modern RCD protection already. If you're not sure, an electrician can check it quickly.
Do the bigger kits need anything extra?
The Plus and Max kits have more than 960W of panels, so it's worth having your electrics checked before you plug in.
